酒莊主人兼釀酒師Kim Crawford 是新西蘭釀酒界首屈一指的人物,自90 年代開始連續多年嬴得新西蘭,以及世界性 的年度最佳釀酒師獎項,而旗艦品牌Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc 更連續8年得到品酒權威雜誌Wine Spectator 評為90分以上的佳釀,自2004年起此酒多次獲選為Wine Spectator “Top 100 Wines” (年度最佳100強)。如此佳績,實在非常難得。而由於酒體極具質素,本地多間5 、6 星級酒店亦樂於選用。

Kim Crawford 的Sauvignon Blanc 除帶有清新濃郁的石榴、西柚清香之外,還有不常見的菠蘿、熱情果味,以及點點的蜜瓜香甜,複雜而層次豐富,是叫人一試難忘的佳釀。

新西蘭以白酒聞名,特別是酒莊所處的Marlborough區出產的Sauvignon Blanc更是公認的質素超卓。事實上,很多時候白酒比紅酒更適合用來配中菜,特別是廣東菜,口味講究鮮嫩,而且以大量海鮮、河鮮入饌,芳香型的白酒如Sauvignon Blanc,其清香和輕微的酸度可以令廣東菜的鮮香得到提升,反而紅酒含單寧則會令海鮮的肉質變得粗糙。如果您從未試過以白酒配中菜,就用Kim Crawford為一個好開始吧!

We are delighted to tell you that we bring in Kim Crawford, one of the best New Zealand wines from Marlborough to our shelves.

Since 1994, founder and wine maker Mr. Kim Crawford received his first award as “Winemaker of the Year” in New Zealand, Kim Crawford has caught the attention of sommeliers round the world. Vintage after vintage, the world-renowned Kim Crawford displays his winemaking prowess with Sauvignon Blanc. Since 2003, the vintages received over 90 points from Wine Spectator for eight consecutive years! This lively wine exhibits aromas such as gooseberry, passion fruit, grass, nettle, mineral, and citrus. It is a perfect match with Chinese cuisine like steamed fish and vegetable dishes.

We are going to have a wine tasting this Saturday and Sunday (21st -22nd May) with Kim Crawford’s world-famous Sauvignon Blanc. Hope to see you by then!
